Naglfar - "Blades" off of Diabolical and "Enslave the Astral Forest" off of Vittra.
This band is really good. It's really good melodic black death metal. The production is really great. The riffs are really good and fast and not copied from anyone else. I just love these goddamned songs.

Carnal Forge - "Sweet Bride" and "Twisted" off of Who's Gonna Burn.
This band is a brand of boring, lame, and recyled melodic death metal. They suck.

Darkane - "July 1999" and "Convicted" both previously unreleased.
I don't like the first song. It's kind of boring. The second song though is really good. I'm afraid that if I buy their cd, I'll hate half of it and really like the other. The vocals are kind of shouted which sucks but otherwise this band is pretty good.

Eucharist - "Mirrorworld" off Mirrorworld and "Wounded and Alone" off of the W.A.R. compilation.
I don't like this band that much. The riffs are boring and not all that great to begin with. The contrast between these two song is startling, but they both suck.

Cryptopsy - "Slit Your Guts" off of None So Vile.
Wow. At first glance, one might think that this is another Cannibal Corpse copy but you'll be pleasantly surprised. They do a lot of fast tremolo picking and heavy ass death metal riffs. The vocals are low and gruff like many American death metal bands. The middle of the song has this really weird bass fill. It's kind of jazzy but it's really fast and non-sensical. This band totally kicks ass.

Arch Enemy - "Losing Faith" off of the Japanese version of Black Earth.
This band is kind of an At the Gates clone but better. They are similar to At the Gates but the riffs and the song are good enough to acknowledge their better than mediocre song writing.

In Flames - "Biosphere" of off Subterranean.
Crystral clear production, awesome vocals, kick ass death metal riffs, excellent and original lead guitars. Melodic death metal doesn't get better than this.

In Thy Dreams - "Forgiven Sins" off of Gate of Pleasure.
This band does a lot of tremolo picking but I don't really like this song. None of the riffs are very good.

Armageddon - "The Juggernaut Divine" is previously unreleased.
There are some good riffs in here. The real treat (for me at least) was the lead guitar. That makes this song stand out from the boring clones of conformity.
