It's not often that a band comes around with a totally unique sound that blows your mind into a completely new dimension. That is what Incubus does, and oh so much more.

Not much can be said about Incubus that you shouldn't just know after one listen to their newest release on Immortal Records. These boys know how to rock with a sound, a drive, and passion that has left many commercial, and underground bands these days. From the start of the first track (Redefine), the unique quality Incubus has, powers through your mind, eats your inhibitions, and swallows your internal pride. All you can do when the disc is playing is start moving around like a crazed idiot, and sit there and slobber on yourself crying "I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy!" The entire album is a phat representation of what the music industry should be like. Strong bass, killer guitar, screamin' vocals, thumpin' drums, and a damn DJ to boot. The addition of the DJ adds an entire dimension that most bands try to tap into, but never find.

If I had to pick one album to buy this year, it would be Incubus with S.C.I.E.N.C.E., no doubt about it. BTW, if you ever go to a Incubus show, and happen to see any of the members...just go right up and introduce yourself to them. They are great guys, and love to hear from their fans.
