Brand new Mp3 from the new album Here!! 06.16.02: The Enemies have announced a couple of shows in the near future, so check out the Shows section. They're playing in Oakland on july 12 with a bunch of awesome bands, so check it out. The lineup for the record release show at Gilman on august 3 is: Enemies, Divit, The Fleshies, The Blottos (last show) and Maneurysm. That show will be great, so don't miss it! 05.21.02: The new album is entitled Seize The Day and according to enemies.net it will hit stores on tuesday, july 30. The release will be followed by a show at Gilman Street in Berkeley on august 3. So mark your calendars! Furthermore the band is looking to tour as much as possible this summer, so if you want them to play your town you can email them. For more info go to enemies.net where you can also see the cover art for the forthcoming album. 05.15.02: The band has finished recording and m ixing the new album and according to the Lookout Watchdog, the album will be released at the end of July. The album will be released on both CD and LP. This is one album you do not wanna live without. The band is gonna play a local record release show sometime in August, so if you live nearby, you should definately go. 04.06.02: The Enemies is now officially a Lookout Records band. Their second full length album will be released on the legendary Bay Area label in August. The band are currently recording in the Nu Tone Studios and judging by the demo they did earlier this year, this is gonna be one hell of a record. The songs are simply amazing. I've had the demo tape glued in my stereo for the last month and it keeps growing on me. The melodies are incredible and the band seems to come together on a whole new level in the new songs. I can't wait to hear the final recording! Trust me, this material is nothing short of amazing. The band will probably be touring in the fall to support the album. Jason is yet again going on tour with the UK Subs as soon as the Enemies are done recording. They'll be touring Europe in May and June. 02.13.02: I got this from the Lookout Watchdog: Jason from THE ENEMIES is back in the USA from his stint drumming for the UK Subs in time to get to work on some new songs with Mike and Dave.
