Folks who caught Orgy on this year's Family Values tour and last weekend's edition of MTV's "Fashionably Loud" may get to see even more of the group soon.
The band is currently in discussions with Love And Rockets about an opening slot on the seminal goth rock outfit's upcoming tour.
Orgy is also hoping to up its visibility with its new video, a cover of New Order's "Blue Monday." The clip, which is thick on sci-fi atmosphere, was added to the MTV playlist this week.
The band shot the video with porn-director-turned-music-video-director Gregory Dark (Sublime, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Ice Cube) in Redondo Beach, California at an Edison power plant over two days in mid-November. The group took to an asbestos-lined hallway in an underground tunnel without electricity for part of the shoot, which also found a child morphing into frontman Jay Gordon.
We'll keep you posted on Orgy's tour plans.
