So did Orgy guitarist Amir Derakh hook up with Korn frontman Jonathan Davis in the studio to work on a Davis solo album?
Not according to the guitarist.
Speaking with MTV News this week, Derakh moved beyond his initial "no comment" to confirm that he had gone into the studio with Davis recently, but that some are blowing the session out of proportion.
"We just did some playing around," Derakh explained. "It got out, and people made some way big..."
"Everybody's making a big, like, 'Woah!'" Orgy frontman Jay Gordon offered. "They, they kinda jammed at the studio. You know, kinda messed around with ideas and stuff, I think." "It was all over the Internet and, you know, we're just screwing around," Derakh concluded. In more immediate news, Orgy has firmed up an opening slot on the road with 80s goth rock outfit Love And Rockets. The tour is expected to launch in March, though no dates have been confirmed yet.
Before that, you can catch Orgy in MTV's buzz bin as the band's video for "Blue Monday" has been named a Buzzworthy clip.
