"Y-2-K-ristmas!" or "Christmas in the Bizarro World"
FRI. DEC 17, 1999 @ Billy Gordons
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
OF NOTE: Vic performed a last minute dry run-through at Undice Undice at * PM consisting of Solar System, More Tough Love, Rudolph, Wish 2 God and WHat the World zneed Now which he took out of the later show. Basically the y-2-K show with several new raps about the Bizzarro World, which Vic must travel to in order to save Christmas. Vic also used some dialogue off the Peter Pan album "The Six Million Dollar Man Christmas Album".
ORIGINAL PLAYBILL NOTES: "My name is Vic Masters and I’m a compulsive tea drinker. That’s not a secret but I thought I’d get it out of the way. Outside of that, there’s not much that I’ve got to be ashamed of except that I don’t understand the world the way I thought I did. One day I started wondering when the world came up all lemons and why hadn’t I noticed it happening before. Maybe for the same reason you can hear a sad song as beautiful and bleak and hopeless at the same time. All that’s changed now. Imbued with the knowledge Nostradamus has bestowed on me when I traveled to the sun, I can tell you everything that’s gonna happen by close of business day 2000. I’ve saved the more catastrophic predictions for the show, but here are a few freebies. Feel free to spread the panic to others:
1. The Clapper will no longer work just by clapping!
2. People who sleep on their stomachs will choke on radiation induced vomit!
3. Peeling onions will STILL make eyes watery but only if there is tearful FINNISH music playing in the background!
4. Once there's no tomorrow, The Tupperware industry will fold!
5.Kosovo is OUT, Kokomo is IN!
6. ER is OUT, Eyore is IN!
7. Monoliths are OUT, Big Black Slabs of Rock are In!
As for the name of tonite’s show- we aren’t actually going to cover Y2K. All the Y2K glitch will mean is that you’ll accidentally order obscene amounts of Connie Francis memorabilia on ebay! Oh hear me neighbor! In order to save the world, you must first love the world. Love the world now."
