All eleven tracks were previously available on the long gone Serene Dominic boxed set Box City which was sold from 1991 -1994 (see illustration below). Serene goes by the name Vic Masters now, whiuch means you can get them again on cassette as part of the first installment of the Vic Masters Reissue Series entitled The Early Masters.

Besides the two Serene cutshere are many other worthwhile tracks by Mr. Jones and the Previous, Dan Bern, Bill White and Spew to be found here. Decidedly folkier than the morbid "K-Tel" styled cover would have you believe. Of course it was designed by the Morose One himself with his ghost-written liner notes as "Spiritual Advisor Lou". No word on a Volume 2.

to unite 22 pop bands from throughout the US and strictly adhere to a three-minutes-or-less
playing time. It's the inaugural release of RPM Records out of Baltimore,
MD and also features tracks by The Montgomery Cliffs, The Jennifers, The
Shambles, The Revelers, Mudwheel and Sidedooor Johnnys.
