Burt Bacharach & Hal David are geniuses. This first Burt collection is a must own because he's such a brilliant arranger. Burt's singing voice is a bit dicey, which makes albums like Make It Easy On Yourself an un-EZ listening music experience. Reach Out is pretty interesting but these busy arrangemets don't lend themselves too well to karaoke interpretations.
