Vic has dueted with Leslie Barton, Miss Bonnie and himself
on the Frank & Nancy hit "Something Stupid", as interpreted
here by Mr. Love Is Blue. Blooming Hits (a number single one album
in '68 )features his only hit "Love Is Blue" (also a number one
in '68 ) . Mauriat also wrote Vic Masters' first-ever favorite song "I
Will Follow Him" by Little Peggy Marsh so he can do no wrong in the
Lively One's book. Actually, on The Soul album, one of Vic' other
favorite all-time records "You Keep Me Hanging On" is riddled
with sitars carrying the melody. Look for it at some future tasteless show.
The James Brown "It's a Man's Man's World" hit is pretty
faithful to the original, so, natch, is Vic. "Black Is Black"
went well but to date has only had one reading.
