Billy Strange was a session guitarist and arranger in the Sixties, his most primo stuff being the Nancy Sinatra records. The English Hits albums became the foundation for Vic's British rock shows because it was so infectious sounding. Vic liked this version of Thunderball even more than the slow John Barry version.
