While I have given three variations of the first riff and two variations of the second riff, you could do just as well by learning just one of each, and just checking out the others. Most of the notes are picked, but there are places where strumming is used. To help with the strumming pattern for riff 2, I have used "v" to denote down strokes, and "^" to denote upstrokes. A dot above "." above a strum sign, indicates that the strum should be a staccato strum. That is it should be damped immediately after the chord sounds. (I use left hand damping for this.) The only time this occurs is in riff 2. Corrections and additions are most welcome. 4/4 time.
