{ci} Hotline Page
Clan Insurrection has a Hotline server where you can go to chat with fellow {ci} members and other members of the Myth Community. We will soon have a selection of maps, films, map editors, utilities, pictures, and much more. Because we do not have a static IP for this Hotline Server, the IP address is constantly changing. Currently, the IP is:
IP=
You can come to this page at any time to get the new IP for the server. Unfortunatly, the server is unable to be up at all times. If you try to log on and the server is down, try again a little later to see if it is. At this time, we do not have a backup server, but we may have one in the future.
Hotline Help: Hotline is an Internet tool that allows you to download files from our server (and upload your own contributions), chat with other people connected to the server, and read news tidbits posted by members of {ci}. All you need is the Hotline client program, available as shareware for PC or Mac.
Download and install the client that you need, then start it up. Choose Options... from the Hotline menu pulldown to set your nickname, icon, and other stuff.
Then choose Connect from the Hotline menu. This will bring up a dialog box. Enter the current IP address in the Server field. Click the Save button if you want to put our server on the list of "shortcuts" (available on the pulldown menu next to the Server field). Then click the Connect button, and you're in!
Inside your Hotline window there will be several sub-windows, and a floating Hotline toolbar. If you don't see a toolbar, select Show Toolbar from the Hotline menu. You can use this toolbar (or the Hotline menu) to create any of the sub-windows, or bring a sub-window to the front if it is already created. For now, open up the News, Chat, Files, Users, and Tasks sub-windows so you can see everything that is going on. Enjoy!
(P.S. Once you're comfy with using Hotline, head on over to cookie's Hotline Tips to learn more about it. Or you can go to http://www.troutmask.com/ for the current trackers and servers)
