This morning(5-13-99), right when I got to school I found out that a guy in my class named Drew is in the hospital. He's one of my friends. He was riding his 3-wheeler with a 9th grade friend named Stephen who was riding his 4-wheeler. I guess their tires hit and they went flying. Stephen went into the grass and rolled like 4 times. Drew hit gravel and rolled about 8 times. Stephen said that he went to see if Drew was ok...his eyes were rolled back into his head and his ear was bleeding. I guess it was pretty bad. He got a CAT scan last night. He might have a minor skull fracture. I really hope he's okay. I've been praying to God all day to let him be alright. So, I'd really appreciate it if you would pray for him for me.
James, a 17 year old guy, had gotten into the wrong group of friends and got put in jail. He had been moved to another city. Our church recieved a letter from him saying that every Sunday a couple guys come and preach God's word to everyone in the jail. He had been really understanding the Bible more than he used to. So, he looked forward to church services every Sunday. Also, please pray for his mother, Linda, who has been going through all this.
**James is out of jail and back at church again!! Him, his mom, and everyone in the church is so happy that he's back and without the wrong crowd.
Courtney is having surgery so that they can put tubes in her ears to stop her ear aches.
Janet's mother has been ill and has lost control over her feet and might lose it in her hands as well. Please pray for Janet and her mother.
Jerry's mom in West Virginia is ill and not doing well. Please pray for her and her family and friends that hope she'll get better.
