My Tori Story
It was a cold cold day in Springfield and nasty too. It was raining and cold, too very bad combinations. Anyways, on to the good stuff. I decided that I would go to the soundcheck by myself since the friends that I was going to the concert with were still in class. I grabbed my camera, my Tori gifts, a magazine with her on it, and my coat and ran out my door. It was around three or four o' clock and just when I and all the others in the small group gathered in front of Juanita K. Hammons thought our wait wasn't going to pay off Tori's crew signaled us over towards a small area in front of the building. We stared at him while he talked on a cel phone and we all patiently waited the arrival of Tori. Then the purple bus came . . . Tori stepped out and *gasp* she came right toward me! I was the the first one to talk to Tori! I was so excited that (I'm sure this always happens) I completely forgot what I was going to say. This was my small Tori conversation that I remember-I was in somewhat of an idiot stupor so I had to ask the guy next to me for a transcript of the conversation :)..hehe
Tori says:"Hi how are you?"
Idiot stupor girl says: "I'm very good, how are you? Here is some stuff I brought you? Could I get a picture with you? Could you sign this?" (probably all in one breath too afraid that the Tori mirage before me would disapear all too quickly)
I think Tori kind of giggled here.
The guy next to me then had to tell me parts of what she said because as you know I was in idiot stuper land. I had given Tori a fairy necklace, a very cute naked dancing fairy and a magic wand (one of those blinking ones from halloween from the fairy costumes). She said that she need the wand and that she liked the necklace. I did see her pocket the fairy and then I wondered how many fairies she must have. She must have a room of fairys from fans. Thousands and thousands and mine was most likely going to end up in the wash. Then I wondered what in the world possesed me to give Tori a cheap-ass wand with the sequins falling off looking like somewhat of an after Christmas decoration someone threw up on --yeah I know I'm exagerating but I get that way. (hehe this was my paranoid self speaking ..er thinking :) ) I also have a scanned pic of what she signed for me here. And in Kansas City I got to see her after the show, but as you may all know she doesn't sign after the show. But, I have Katon's signature here from after that show. He was very very nice and even drew me a cute little picture :) I was very happy. My friend took the picture above and on this page you can see other soundcheck photos of Tori. Needless to say I was very happy about my meeting with Tori and felt that she was genuinly everying that I had imagined. She was very sincere caring and honest and in the picture below you can see her beautiful face contorting in interest as she is enganged in a very intruiging conversation with a fan.
