the big 80s
Synth-Pop

I've recently had to face the Truth: I'm an 80's synth-pop child and always will be. There's something about a sythnesized beat that I just can't get enough of (pun intended, I suppose). I think it started the first time I heard "You Spin Me Round" at a high school dance. From there, I discovered "Blue Monday", "West End Girls", and "Oh, Lámour". And I've been listening to everything similar ever since.

Don't get me wrong, I also like everything from Harry Connick Jr. to Led Zepplin. But nine times out of ten, the CD I'm spinning goes "thump, thump, thump..."

bands i listen to most...
