LIZ PHAIR For three and a half years, stage fright and motherhood kept Liz Phair from the road. Now, having warmed up with a stint on Lilith Fair, she's back. And this time she's bringing motherhood with her. Her eighteen-month-old son will wait backstage while Liz and her new five-piece band work the crowd. "To be honest," she says, "I don't think the road is necessarily the greatest place for kids. Whatever it takes, though, because he's the most important thing to me." Awwww...
