you might have seen this in Metal Hammer
Human Waste Project have split up. A posting on the bands official website said: "... the Project was apparently cursed." HWP were recently dropped by Hollywood records as part of a label "spring clean", but despite the setback refused to give in, funding tours with Coal Chamber and an appearance at the Ozzfest in June with merchandise sales. HWP enjoyed a much stronger European profile than they did in the States, but Hammer understands the band was being courted by major labels. Singer Aimee Echo has yet to announce any plans, but it's understood that drummer Scott Ellis has sold his kit and intends to keep out of the music business altogether.

------ The Aimee and Tarrie show
Will they team up in a new band?
With the recent demise of Human Waste Project and now the rumours surrounding the future of Tura Satana, some sources have suggested that old friends Aimee Echo and Tarrie B might team up in a new band. But Tarrie doesn't see it that way. "That's not true! she insists. "If Aimee and I choose some day to do a duet, that would be amazing. But we can't work together - we're both singers!" While there's no official word yet on future plans for any of HWP - who have been incredibly had to track down since announcing their split last month - Kerrang! understands that Aimee is currently on tour with a friend.
