Radio Vudù is an italian band born in the midnineties from the trashes of the well-known
milanese punk rockers “The Ride”. Their original experiences mixed with their new skills and talents
have produced their strong new spirit of bastard rock’n’roll.
The band’s first EP “L’inferno può attendere (hell can wait)” was put out in 1997, it was followed
by the mini cd “Tutti fatti, fotti tutti (Everybody out, fuck’em all)” mini-cd and, and is now succeeded by
“Punk Fiction” cd produced by Edizioni Setticlavio and and made upon 11 original tracks and a special
tribute to the legendary italian beat-band ‘Corvi’.
Their political and savage “Secessione (Secession)” video-clip – from the debut album - has been broadcasted
by two of the most renowned national TV channels. The hits-songs from “Tutti fatti fotti tutti” have received
a lot of playing time on the major italian stations.
In the last six years the band has played more than 200 live-shows in around 70 different clubs all over
Italy plus brief appearances in Switzerland, Germany and Slovenia. Their live performance brings out the
best of the band’s sweeping and furious energy and charges the explosive and provocative attitude of their
animalistic singer.
To promote the new album, Radio Vudù are now ready to set out on a new intensive tour. The live-act
is mostly composed of the band’s original songs (strictly screamed in italian), but includes many famous
revisited remakes of classics from L. Armstrong and C. Berry to venerated punk-anthems from the Sex Pistols,
the Ramones and the Stooges.
