As longtime of fans of the Bee Gees, and Robin Gibb in particular, we thought it would be great to pay tribute to Robin's wonderful vocal ability.
Let's not forget the other 2/3 of that magical group, Robin's brothers Barry and Maurice.
Over the years, the styles of music that the brothers have performed have changed with the times, but one thing remains the same. The sound of Robin's hypnotizing vibrato has been a force in not only the music of the Bee Gees, but in the pop music industry. From the early days to the present, Robin has been able to capture a distinctive sound. "New York Mining Disaster" and "I Started A Joke" caught our attention, and songs like "Massachusetts","Juliet", "Irresistable Force" and "I Will" keep us coming back for more. So stay tuned, for we will have many exciting features on this wonderful group and especially on Robin (who holds a special place in our hearts). If you have never heard Robin's songs "Another Lonely Night In NY", "How Old Are You?", and "Toys", you don't know what you're missing!
So read on and find out about my favorite, Robin. (You just might hear a few things about those other guys, too...What was their names?) Only Joking!!! Each one of the three Bee Gees has their own unique personality, sound, and story to tell, so soon we will being hearing about different aspects of the lives and music of Robin and the Bee Gees.
