After months of round-the-clock work by our experienced technicians, the Sound Bites page is now back online. Enjoy!
Here you can download clips of the Lads' stuff in WAV format, and link to our RealAudio archives. If you're dying to let us know what you think, surf on over to Groupies' Corner and drop us a line.

With this tune you can almost smell the fermenting corn mash in yer pappy's still, feel the moonshine yanking your tongue and torching your tonsils. If that's not enough to make you want to download this, then consider that it is a rare opportunity to hear Colin Albritons, the Lads' occaisional guest vocalist, torching his tonsils. Nigel experiments with a secret alternative acoustic guitar tuning and provides slide guitar fills. Simon handles the bass duties, while JT's sidestick rhythm keeps everybody on the rails. And those rails end up in a Nashville siding someplace, as recorded on April 4 1998. (Yes this is FINALLY a song from our April jam!) |

We agree it's the height of insensitivity to our Mac brethren to publish songs in Windoze WAV format. We don't even have a feeble excuse about disk space anymore. However, we do like Macs so if you would like to hear the WAV files on this and other web sites, we suggest you click here to download SoundApp, a freeware sound converter for the Mac.
Or why not try our Sound Bites Archive in RealAudio format?
