Starting at the age of 2, Joshua always strived to be the best. Drawing influences from drummers
such as Alex Van Halen, Neil Peart, Don Brewer, Jon Fishman, Louis Belson, Buddy Rich, Charlie
Adams, and his father, Jerry Lee Mason. At the age of 17, he has
accomplished several things in his career, such as: Being the
drum line captain for the Swain County Marching Band and playing with a number of different bands.
Currently with Hammerloop, he says that this is the best band,
and the best that he has ever been able to play in his life.
He is also making D's and F's in school. Joshua hasn't really had any teacher other than
MTV and watching other drummers. His main and only intrest is to take things as far as they will go.
