Who Are 3 Colours Red?

3 Colours Red have only been together for a few years. Though in that time they have gathered a large following with support slots with The Wildhearts and Almighty, not to mention their top 30 singles since signing to Creation Records. Their debut single, This Is My Hollywood, was released on indie label Fierce Panda. They are:-

All of the members of the band have drifted to and fro with numerous bands(to many to mention). They play punk with just the right amount of pop to let them be excepted in the mainstream. In my opinion, they are destined for success. Others say they'll fall flat on their face as they're too soft for the rock kids and too punk for the indie kids, but I believe they've got what it takes to make it.

What Have They Done?

So far the band have released six singles, with one of them on the small indipendant label, Fierce Panda. Their biggest hit was Sixty Mile Smile, which reached number 20 in the charts. Click on the CD for a full discography.

The Best Bits

Copper girl is a brilliant song both live and on record. The only problem I find with it is that the huge guitar fill in is too big for its own good. My personal favourite at the moment has to be Throughbreeze, a b-side to the Pure single.
