Diary of Dreams
"Erwacht und erkannt/Die Traume verronen"
Diary of Dreams is the brainchild of Adrain Hates, bassist/keyboardist/et. al. for G. O.D. and Alistair Kane. Thus far, they have released two albums, and made many compliation appearances, as well as going on tour several times. The music provides a stark contrast to G.O.D, a melancholy (Cholymelan, get it?) electronic soundscape. All these Nephilim/Sisters influences have fallen away, and one is reminded of many bands when listening to their music but one cannot quite place what bands those are -- really there is no one quite like them. The subject matter is dark, really very dark, and is accompanied by stark drums, lush synthesizers, and only the occaisonal guitar. Do not let the description fool you, they most certainely do not fit into the traditional "gothic/ambient" school at all.
Latest news from Diary of Dreams is that they apparently have parted ways with Dion Fortune. Any new news on this band would be appreciated muchly.

This page is still in the very early stages - but expect growth soon. However, this *is* the only one on the web. Sorry, it sounds obnoxious, but it's true (I think...).
