PUNK OFF

PUNK OFF is The Crowd's first new full-length CD in five years.

Coming Soon: PUNK OFF T-shirts and buttons... and the first new CROWD stickers and buttons since the early 1980s.

The Crowd's first full-length CD since 1996's Letter Bomb is here at last!

PUNK OFF (former working title: The Crowd Goes Wild) contains material from the past three or four years, including several songs that have already become a part of the band's concert routine (Say, When Satan Smiles, Sugarsmack, Luxury of Youth, etc.) Unity Squad Records is handling the distribution.

The CD features the recent single I'm Not Happy Here, a remake of The Real Beginning (which originally appeared on the 1998 $kad EP) and Surf Ghetto (which also appeared on the 2001 Old Skars and Upstarts compilation from Disaster Records.)

A remake of the Bleeders' American In Me was also recorded as a future b-side.

The release of the CD was marked by record release parties and performances in two Southern Cal record stores (Vinyl Solution in Huntington Beach and Dr. Strange Records) and promotions like t-shirts, stickers, posters and buttons. There may also be a special club date scheduled.

An LP version will also be released in early 2002 - 500 copies will be pressed (100 each in 5 different colors of wax!)

Watch for some MP3 previews in a few weeks, right here!
