That's the "mom van"  and travelers about to make the trip to Framptroit just before the "Day's Dawning."

The first official Family of Friends Convention was held in Auburn Hills, Michigan from July 16-18, 1999.  The weekend was one to be remembered forever by all who were able to attend!  So many Frampton fans gathered in one place were certainly a sight to behold!  The Saturday night show was at Pine Knob Music Theater and the FOF was lucky enough to be invited by Peter to attend the pre-show soundcheck.  So much work goes on behind the scenes of each and every show!  This show in particular was special because it was to be filmed for release on video and DVD!!  Fantastic!  We spent a lot of time getting to meet new faces and hang out with other FOF members - and there was a "family" picnic, too!  All in all, a MOST wonderful weekend!  Can't wait to do it again!!!!
