What an amazing night! I'm so thrilled to have been able to be there to see this high-energy performance at Electric Lady Studios in New York City. |

The way that Roseanne and I ended up at this once in a lifetime performance was nothing short of a true miracle. Fate was definitely on our side! We had both entered a contest for a trip to be in the Rockline audience that our local classic rock station was holding. The winners were notified on Monday and we had not won. On the day of the show I was at home sick with a stomach bug when, at 2:30 in the afternoon, the phone rang. The promotions guy from WMGK was asking me if I had entered a contest to go see Peter Frampton. "YES"... "Well, as it turns out, one of the winners backed out at the last minute and your name was drawn as a replacement. Can you make it tonight?" All I could manage to say in reply was, "Oh my God... oh my God..." What a dream come true! |

The show was broadcast at 11:30 PM. We rode on the "special bus" from the radio station in Philadelphia to New York City with the three other lucky winners and their guests plus the guy from promotions and a DJ from the station. We were almost there when the adrenalin and Imodium both kicked in. This was going to be FANTASTIC! |

We were among only about 25 people to be seated inside the studio with Peter and the band. There were contest winners from a New York City radio station, too. We were told that VH1 would be filming that night for a "Behind the Music" scheduled to air in August. |
