I am a graduate of Eastern Washington University. I am currently located in Western Washington near Poulsbo, WA, accross the water from Seattle. My degree is a Master's in School Psychology. I am currently practicing with the awesome Special Education staff at North Kitsap School District.
It is my full intention to practice School Psychology from an Ecological-Scientific-Prevention-as-Intervention angle as a Problem Solver, not a Gate Keeper.
I am certified by the National School Psychological Certification board and as an Educational Staff Associate (ESA) for Washington State.
Another aspiration of mine is becoming certified by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board. Drs. David Hatfield and Gretchen Jefferson have been good enough to provide supervision and guidence in my behavior analytical practices. In addition to behavior analysis, I hope to further my studies in clinical psychology and neurology--particularly as it applies to youth and community primary prevention efforts.
My hobby interests are weight lifting and reading pedrsonal growth books, I also enjoy drawing cartoons , watching action films, doing fun things with my wife, and practicing Aikido. |
