I can't be sure if they're
the same person, but Steve Chapman used to be Al Stewart's manager, and
Tim Renwick has been appearing in many albums by Al Stewart, so maybe this
is the connection. There is a drummer called Steve Chapman who appears
in albums by Poco, Coast Road Drive (Delicious and refreshing,
1974, along with Mick Weaver,
Chris Mercer, Nicky Hopkins,
Henry Lowther and Charlie Harrison), Henry McCullough (Mind your
own business, 1975, along with Mick
Weaver, Tim Hinkley, Charlie Harrison, Neil Hubbard, Alan Spenner),
Alfalpha, Spencer Davis (Crossfire, 1984, along with Davey
Johnstone, and the missed Dusty Springfield), and lots of albums by Al
Stewart.
