Steve Hopgood (drums)

Member of Chinatown.

 In the early eighties, Steve joined Lionheart:

Hopgood stayed in the band until 1983.

In the mid eighties, he's a member of Persian Risk:

Carl Sentance (vocals)
Graham Bath (guitar)
Nick Hughes (bass)
Steve Hopgood (drums)
This lineup changed a bit with they added a 2nd guitarist: Carl Sentance (vocals)
Graham Bath (guitar)
Phil Vokins (guitar)
Nick Hughes (bass)
Steve Hopgood (drums)
The band dissolved in 1986. Steve went to Wild!

In April 1987, Steve joins Paul DiAnno's Battlezone, in time to record their 2nd album, Children of madness. With:

Paul Di'Anno (vocals)
John Wiggins (guitar)
Graham Bath (guitar)
Pete West (bass)
Steve Hopgood (drums)
But soon after, Pete West leaves: Paul Di'Anno (vocals)
John Wiggins (guitar)
Graham Bath (guitar)
Artie Batz (bass)
Steve Hopgood (drums)
But the whole band changes in Spring 1988. Steve Hopgood goes to the band Passion.

In January 1992, he rejoins singer Paul DiAnno in a new venture, Killers, with Nick Burr on guitars. They released the album Murder one.

Their new album was Menace to society, recorded with:

Cliff Evans (guitar)
Gavin Cooper (bass)
Steve Hopgood (drums)
In 1997, bassist Algy Ward reforms Tank, with a new lineup: Algy Ward (vocals, bass)
Mick Tucker (guitar)
Cliff Evans (guitar)
Steve Hopgood (drums)
They played a tour around Germany, where they recorded a live album, The return of the filth hounds - live.
