BARRY REYNOLDS info
Barry Reynolds
(guitar)
This is the first band I've been able to trace
with Barry Reynolds. This was around 1970, and the band was called Pacific
Drift:
-
Barry Reynolds (guitar)
-
Graham Harrop (bass)
-
Jack Lancaster (wind)
-
Dave Davani (horns)
-
Brian Chapman (keyboards)
Lawrence Arends (drums)
They released one album, Feelin' free,
with the contribution of wonderful backing vocalists Sue Glover and Sunny
Leslie. In November 1968, Jack Lancaster leaves to form Blodwyn Pig. A
couple of years later, in September 1970, Jack calls Barry Reynolds to
join them:
-
Peter Banks (guitar, vocals)
-
Barry Reynolds (guitar)
-
Andy
Pyle (bass)
-
Jack Lancaster (wind)
-
Ron Berg (drums)
(fantastic, valuable scan

But, very soon, Banks leave them to form Flash,
and Reynolds also leaves (being replaced by Larry Wallis).
Apart from playing in Pacific
Drift and Blodwyn Pig, Barry Reynolds has also recorded and toured with
Marianne Faithfull along the years. He has also released a solo album,
called I scare myself.
