A great artist and composer,
he was the main force in Pink Floyd, until he left the band. His first
solo album, the fantastic The pros and cons of hitch-hiking
shows one of the best works by Eric Clapton since the 70s. After some albums,
he tried to resurrect The Wall, playing the complete work
live in Berlin, with lots of featured singers and a very competent band
commanded by Snowy White. He played a shortened set in Spain in Seville,
1991, for the Guitar Legends festival. But for some reason, he doesn't
get the same acknowledgement as with his former band.
