EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT ME, EXCEPT YOU PROBABLY DIDN'T CARE...
'Tis I, spring of '98 |
If you haven't already caught it, my name is Marc Peterson. I'm a senior newspapers major at the University of Georgia in Athens, hopefully graduating this year. I've spent time at a couple of schools through my collegiate career, including the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa my freshman year and a stint at Kennesaw State College (now University) in Georgia. UGA and UA are both pretty good schools, though I think Bama took the cake for its campus, and I'm not sure any campus could be as pretty. Athens is, of course, a much more happening drinking town and gets better bands through. KSU, of course, is just a lovely place to pad your GPA.
Ich habe deutsch gestudien, aber sie ist sehr schwer gewesen. Deiser [dictionary] ist sehr gut gewesen. However, I had to drop my last German class this quarter because as I said, deutsch ist sehr schwer. I'll add a Spanish dictionary, too, if I come across one, but since I don't take Spanish anymore it probably won't be anytime too soon...
I also love to partake of disc golf, the winner of the "damn, that sounds so stupid!" award. But play it once, and you'll want to play it again, like crack with frisbees. There's even a professional organization for the sport (just like golf, eh!), and their web site has the most useful feature of any website ever...a list of disc golf courses all over the country (and world), directions to the course, and commentary. Ah, life is good. =)
