The kings have all vanished, and nothing lives in these cold mountains The trees have all died and the water is poisonous There are no starts to accompany moon- lit night And I sat there, keeping watch, until something caught my sight
On the dark northside innocence ventured on far away from home, many hours before dawn curiosity struck her so, imagination subdued by priests My shadow shrouded her body, as I clenched her within my teeth
I brought her to see a sight of the damned, where nothing ever lived The first effort made in a thousand years to have something to give For the wings grew tired of waiting, having not been spread in so long As they finally did, so did her legs to recieve this damnation
The stormclouds were penetrated by the lightning storms and rain And my beloved mortal beauty screamed in agonized pain as I gathered her tired body in search for refuge in a cave I realized we were both damned, and now like me, she couldn't be saved I layed her down on dry ground and tried to make her speak But her blue lips spoke for her, never moving, covered with my seed
The first thing in a thousand years to make me feel a thing Gone forever now, a cause of my loving perversity Her body had turned cold and limp, and i realized what I had done And I vowed that day that this mistake would be the only one
Never is a broken dream |
