New Journey's

iIn denial
fragile
afreaid
standing in some distant corner
feeling the loss
of hope and life
happiness and honor
the moonlight cracks the soul
and breaks any lingering hope
the moonlight re- opens scars
and doorways leading to the unknown

forget who you are
what does that matter anymore?
what brings the sorrow
should be what you adourn

against the grain
tattered in pain
standing in the crimson rain
searching for refuge
an answer
a prayer
to become whole again
deep red
warm
a metallic taste
dripping from your eyes
he who is whole
who suffers no more
is he who has surely died

forget who you are
what does that matter anymore?
what brings the sorrow should be what you adorn
what is to despise about setting forth the  end
and to leave the body
allowing new journeys to begin
