Feel free to e-mail me at <a href="mailto:stevec@netnitco.net">stevec@netnitco.net</A> if you have any requests, corrections, comments, questions, death threats, etc. <P> Before you read any of my reviews, let me first explain the ratings system:<br> Every album reviewed is given a score from 1 to 10 (10 being the best score possible). Now, before you go any further, get the whole 9=A, 8=B, 7=C scale that the school systems taught you out of your head. That's not how I do it. For example, on my scale, a 7 isn't average, it's actually very good. A 5 isn't an F, it's more like a C. Here's the scale: <p>10 = Flawless<br> 9 = Near Perfect, a sure classic<br> 8 = Excellent<br> 7 = Very Good, Clearly Superior<br> 6 = Good<br> 5 = Average<br> 4 = Flawed, but still listenable<br> 3 = Bad <br> 2 = Terrible<br> 1 = Wick, wick, WACK <p>Anything that scores an 8 or above is recommended to all Hip-Hop fans. An album that scores a 5-7 is something that you definitely might want to check out, especially if you're a big fan of the artist. An album that scores a 3 or 4 is one of a low quality, but still has a few redeeming qualities that might make a few people want to purchase it. Anything that scores a 2 or below would be better to just stay away from. <p>Towards the beginning of all of my reviews are <b>THE GOOD NEWS</B> and <b>THE BAD NEWS</B>, quickly stating the major good and bad points of the album. After about my sixth review, I started receiving some complaints via e-mail that my reviews were too long. So, these were added so that someone could get a basic idea about the album without reading the whole review. I think of them as being sorta like Cliffs Notes to my reviews.
