BIOGRAPHY
Angela Grant was born on November 24th, which makes her a Sagittarius. She comes from a family of 5, she being the oldest of 3 children. She has 2 younger brothers. While growing up in Columbus, Georgia she sang in the church choir and school.
After deciding to turn professional she started circulating a demo tape, which won the hearts of industry insiders. It eventually found it's way to super producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, and Angel was signed to Flyte Tyme Records in 1997.
In May of 1998 her first single, Lil' Red Boat was released. Even though it didn't make a BIG splash, Angel has made a small (but very loyal) fan base for herself. Her first full lenght CD titled Album was released on July 2nd, 1998.
Angel has decided to take a break from music for awhile. She has parted ways from Flyte Tyme Records.
She's currently practicing a different kind of art. She's been busy behind the scenes of numerous independent films and photo shoots, as a hair and makeup artist! She owns her own beauty salon back in Minnesota, where she's currently living as well.
As for the future, Angel would like to pursue acting, and maybe (as all her fans hope) make more music! We haven't seen the last of this Angel!
