"AJ, I need you to get up and take me to school"

AJ moaned and rolled over clutching his pillow. He looked very cute and I didn't want to disturb him, but I really needed a ride to school.

"AJ honey, I'm going to take your Expedition if you don't get up."

AJ rubbed his eyes and sat up.

"Ok, I'm up."

"I knew that would get you up."

"Oh shut up. I'm going to go take a shower, then I'll be down."

I went downstairs to get some breakfast. AJ had an extreme lack of healthy food in his cupboards, but I managed to scrounge up ssome cereal. After breakfast I went into the downstairs bathroom and brushed my teeth. The sound of AJ's phone ringing broke the silence in the house. I could still hear the water of the shower running, so I picked up the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hi Kiara? This is Denise."

"Oh, hi Denise"

"I wanted to let you know that I got you a doctors appointment for this afternoon."

"OK, thank you."

"I'll pick you up from school, and take you."

"Thank you Denise. I really appreciate all of this."

"You're welcome. Well, I have to get going. Tell my son that better call the guys."

"Oh I will. I'll see you later."

"Bye hon"

"Bye"

After hanging up with Denise I cleaned up my breakfast dishes and then went into the spacious living room to relax for a few minutes before we had to leave. I sat down on AJ's black velvet couch and flipped the tv on. I looked through the channels, but being 7:30 in the morning, there wasn't anything good on tv. AJ came down about ten minutes later.

"Who was on the phone?"

"Your Mom. She's taking me to the doctor this afternoon. She's gonna pick me up from school."

"Ok, that's good. I have a meetng today. I'm gonna tell the guys. Who knows how they're going to react. I may not make it home tonight, I may be dead."

I laughed slightly.

"Don't say that; although, you're probably right."

"Michael and Jeff are going to spaz. At least we don't have our old management."

"Really, I don't think Michael and Jeff are going to be too hard on you.

"Yeah, I guess not. Let's go."
