Kevin watched Averi sleep.
She is so beautiful. I can't believe she's with me.
Kevin realized that he hadn't asked Averi to be his girlfriend. For the next half-hour, Kevin planned how he was going to ask Averi to be his girlfriend. When he planned it all out, he decided he should wake Averi up.
"Averi…Averi wake up," Kevin whispered gently shaking her.
Averi mumbled something and rolled over. She rolled the wrong way and rolled right off the couch. Kevin tried to catch her, but failed.
Averi's eyes shot open. Kevin stifled a laugh.
"Owww, that hurt," Averi said rubbing her head.
Kevin couldn't hold his laughter in any longer. He burst out laughing and Averi glared at him.
"What?
"That really hurt. Why are you laughing?"
"I'm sorry. It was pretty funny though."
"Whatever. What time is it?"
"It's about 1:00 I think," Kevin checked his watch, "Yup it is."
"I should probably head home."
"Ok, let's go."

Averi closed her eyes as Kevin drove her home.
"Don't fall asleep again. This time your fall would be a lot farther to the ground."
"You're right. I better make sure I don't fall back to sleep."
They drove the rest of the way in silence. Kevin was concentrating on the road and Averi was concentrating on staying awake.
They got to Averi's apartment and Kevin walked her to the door.
"Want to come in?"
"Yeah, sure. I'll only stay a couple of minute though. I know how tired you are."
Averi smiled and led him into her living room. They sat down on her couch.
"So did you have a good time tonight?" Kevin asked
"Yeah I did. It was the perfect date," Averi replied.
Kevin leaned over and kissed Averi gently. They pulled away and smiled at each other.
"I better go, it's getting late. I'll call you sometime this week about the Barbecue at my house Saturday."
Averi nodded her head and followed Kevin to the door. Kevin gave her a peck on the lips and left.
Averi smiled and went to bed
