Just be careful hat yr chauffeur, paid for out of our taxes, isn't pissed up, that you wear a seatbelt, that yr not driven mad by the arrogance of the super-rich and that you stay to the speed limit, and you should be OK.

yesyesyeysyeyeysyeyses!! I'm glad I'm not the only person to think that Kevin Greening
is a BOAR.

He makes me want to kill people too. Only yesterday morning, I maimed two weathermen and one
daytime TV presenter. phewie! (oh, and a kicked a chatshow host in the shin)

Luckily, this morning I set the clock radio to wake me up to XFM. (we lucky Londonites)

All I could do was burn the house down after listening to Talking Heads..

arse!(on)

that carlsberg thing the other weekend sounded bad enough...

the worst (saddest - in an ironic not weepy sad way) thing is that it probably will happen...

Subject: Catching Up...

From: Paul Newton <pkn@cs.nott.ac.uk>

Alright all - I've finally caught up with all your lunch banter. I've been moving house this weekend, so this is my first day in work. I can't believe how many emails you all send....

Must agree with everyone about the surreal Radio 1-eff-emm coverage over the weekend. Why did they play all that crap lift music - I was moving that day, so I was stuck in a transit van for hours, listening to "Song For Guy" by the man Elton. What a tragedy.

And another thing. It must be something about a transit van that makes you act like a builder. Every time we drove past some attractive woman, we'd all say "Oooh - I would" or "Oooh, what a munter". I know it's not very PC, and I'm not normally like this, but she was _very_ nice...

And another thing - where's that new bloke then? Is he in or out? Is he joining us on the lunch bus?

Yeah, it's smart... last time i moved me and Si spent a happy day threatening each other with vilence, leering at women out of the window, playing bad soul music very loudly and sweating a lot. It was GRATE, but i had to pay dearly by spending the next week reading Angela Carter and being TWEE.

Coool... i was in THE STUDIO last night (i.e. the attic) doing some New Stuff which many of you will be running away from next week, and it all sounds like DEPECHE MODE. Digital Delay pedals are EXCELLENT, they make everything sound like it was recorded down a well, inside a cave, in the corner of a cathedral which is playing host to the Synth Wash Appreciation Society.

Leicester People: There is a Pub Quiz at the Ox on Wednesday (i.e. tomorrow, for the hard of thinking), so consider yrself TOLD about it. Also will be a THING on Monday night when many noted ARTISTES will be performing, but not Kevin Hewick so all will be well...

You free tomorrow night? Keep your fingers crossed... I don't think
I'll have time to leg it along there and get a wristband for the gig,
so it'll be good if Jode can get more tickets... basically all the
tickets are free, and it's better for the band if there's a few fans
who will sing along / shout art wank etc there, as there are som
eimportant people there to see them...

Did you know that "paparazzi" comes from the fusion of 2 Italian words -

      papatacci meaning gnat
razzi meaning the popping of flash bulbs

And it was the name given to a prying cameraman in Fellini's La Dolce Vita.

Aye thankewe.
