I have met the Moffatts 5 times and I would like to share 2 experiences with you ~ Eryn aka KrazieMy Sidney, Ohio Memory - Well, we arrived at the Shelby County Fair in Sidney, Ohio around 3pm on Wednesday, July 29. We were looking around for the tent that the Moffatts were supposed to be performing at, but we couldnt find it so we asked a guy working at a food stand if he could show us where. He pointed down the walkway a bit and we saw the tent! :o) We started walking towards it when I heard someone singing "End of the Road"! I was shocked...I kept asking "Is it them? Is it them?" We reached the tent and saw that it was! They had been there since for a while setting up and practicing!! We walked up to the stage and watched them practice. A little while later, they went back to their tour bus. I sat down in my seat for a bit and was talking to some of my friends that I met from the internet when my mom told me that the boys were in front of their bus. I jumped up and ran to their bus! :o) My mom was already there waiting for me. She was right in front of them. I went to stand with my mom and I bumped into a guy in front of me. I said sorry and moved back. Then I bumped into the guy behind me. I turned around and said sorry. I felt so stupid. Then I turned around again so I would be facing the boys when I saw Clint starting at me and smiling! I felt so stupid!! Then I asked him if I could get a picture taken with him. He said "Sure" and leaned toward me. I leaned toward him and my mom took the picture. Then, Bob walked toward me so I asked him if I could get a picture with him. He said "Sure" and put his arm around my shoulder. I felt confident so I put my arm around his waist. My mom took the picture. Then I turned around and was talking with some of my friends. I heard my mom ask Bob if he remembered singing "Happy Birthday" to someone in Unionville, Pennsylvania which was in October of 1996. I kind of tuned out the rest of their conversation. When I turned around, I saw Bob staring at me smiling and he said "Really?!?!?!?" The rest of my mom and Bob's conversation was this... My mom:Do you remember singing Happy Birthday to someone in Unionville, Pennsylvania? Bob:Unionville....Unionville....Erin?? My Mom:Yeah! You remember? Bob:Yup! My Mom: *Pointing at me* Well, this is her! Bob:Really?!?!?! That is so cool that he remember's me!! Anyways...they went back to their tour bus to get ready for dinner. About 10 minutes later, they went to eat. I didnt want to bother them, so I didnt follow them to dinner. They came back about a half an hour later and did an interview with a TV station and a Newspaper reporter. My friends and I just stood behind them during the interviews. I kept talking about Bob and Scott's butts and one of my friends said rather loudly "You are so evil!" *Remember that one, Car?!!?* Right then, Clint and Scott turned around and looked at us. Clint was like "Who's Evil??" My mom and 2 of my friends pointed to me and said "Erin's Evil!!" Clint and Scott just looked at me and smiled! After that, whenever they would have a break in the interview, Clint would turn around and look at us! :o) The concert started at 8pm. I was standing in the second row. They sang tons of the songs including "I'll Be There For You", "Misery", "Rock 'n Roll", "Miss You Like Crazy", "If Life is So Short", "Love", and many more. At one part during the concert, Scott sprayed his water bottle all over the croud. I got soaked!! But it was cool because I was really hot! *lol* After the concert, they had an AG line. Dave was first. Then it was Bob. I had Bob sign a shirt of mine that had a picture of him on it and said "Erin Loves Bob". He signed it and then he read it. He started reading it outloud..he was like "Erin Loves...B....B....B....what does that say??" I smiled and said "Erin Loves Bob!" He smiled and said "Oh! Really?? Coooooool!!" He looked so cute! Then Scott. Then Clint. I asked Clint if I could have a hug. He said "Yup!" and stood up and gave me a hug! After the AG Line, they got their pictures taken with some fans. I got my picture taken with Dave, then I got my picture taken with Bob again, only this time, I was KISSING Him!!! :o) I had to kiss him twice that day because the first time, the camera wouldnt work! Then I got my picture taken with Scott and another picture taken with Clint.
My Canton, Michigan Memory - We arrived at Center Stage in Canton Michigan at 11:30am on Friday, July 31. The doors wouldnt be opening until 6pm, but we decided to camp out and hang with some friends from the internet! The Moffatts arrived at about 3pm. They unloaded the bus then started setting up and practicing. We could hear them practicing throught the doors. My friend, K, and I had to go to the bathroom really bad so we knocked on the door and asked if we could. They let us. On our way to the bathroom, we had to walk past the boys! They were practicing at the time! :o) They let us in at 6pm sharp! We got our seats and waited for them to come on stage. At 7:30pm, the opening act started performing. He wasnt that bad! He was a country singer. :o) Once again, the concert rocked!! After the show, they had an AG line and a Photo Session for fans! I got my picture taken with the group, then I went over to Bob and asked him if I could get an individual picture with him. He said "sure" and put him arm around me. After my mom took the picture of us, I leaned over to him and kissed him again! Then I wispered in his ear "I am really going to miss you!" He looked at me and smiled. Then, Shelia gave me Bob's pen that he autographed with! I loved it! One of my friends, Jo, was getting her picture taken with the boys and she asked me if I wanted to be in it with her! I said "Sure" and walked over and stood next to Bob. He leaned toward me and we all smiled for the camera! Then my mom took another picture of just me and him! After all of the fans got their pictures taken, the staff got theirs. When everyone was done getting their pictures taken, I walked over to Bob and said "Can I ask you a question?" he said "Sure! Go Ahead!" so I said "What kind of cologne do you wear?" I guess he was caught offgaurd because he said "Cologne? Tommy!" I then said "I wanted to know because you smell REALLY REALLY good!!" He smiled, laughed, then said "Thanks! That's a good thing!!" I can't believe I asked him that!! ACK!! :o) After that, a few of my friends interviewed the boys. I waited around for them. After they were done, we all walked out to our cars and said our goodbyes!
