Aleka: Main Character and Part Narrator. She is about 5'6" and thin for a 14 year old. She has brown hair with blonde highlights through it that sits right on her shoulders. She has blue eyes. She plays Volleyball, Basketball, and Soccer for fun with her friends. She lives with her father in Toledo, Ohio. Her mother died when she was 12 and still hasn't gotten fully over loosing her. Her best friend is the only one she really talks to since her dad is a big buisness man and travels alot. She is an extra drummer for the school band in case someone can't make it and is also a guitar player for the school's choir.
Cordelia: Best Friend of Aleka. She is about 5'5" and an average 14 year old. She has Sandy Blonde hair that is the same lenght as Aleka's. She has brown eyes and is very athletic like Aleka. She plays Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, and Softball. She lives two houses down from Aleka in Toledo. She lives with her mom and older sister. Her dad left them when she was 2. She plays drums and some trumpet as well. Tara: A Cousin of Aleka's. She lives about 7 houses away from Aleka's house and is 17. She has blond hair past her shoulders and has blue eyes. Her parents and her never had a great relationship so she moved away when she was 16. She was very close to her Aunt (Aleka's Mom). She works as a waitress at a nearby cafe and loves being close to Aleka. She plays keyboards and a little guitar. Kristen: Aleka's Mother's sister/Aunt. She is in her mid 40's and lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her husband and her moved to Tulsa after Mercury Records transforded him here to manage a pop band. David: Aleka's Uncle. He is in his late 40's and manages a pop band. He lives next door to the band he manages and very much enjoys it. Jake: Aleka's Father. He travels alot and just like Aleka has not fully gotten over his wife's death. He tries to not be home that often cause Aleka is a constant reminder of his wife and her death. When he is home he isn't pleasent at all. For those of you who are questioning how Aleka's mother died here it is. Aleka was home alone watching T.V. when she heard glass shatter. She walked over to the kitchen and saw the door wide open. She bolted out of the house and to Cordelia's. While she left her mother had come home from her late night bridge game. A person had broken in and killed Aleka's mother. Jake came home and found his wife dead on the dinning room table. He constantly blames Aleka for leaving the house.
