A couple of hours later, beds were made and video games were finished. It was time for dinner. They sat with Aaron at the head of the table. To his left were Nick, Brian, Kevin, Joey, and Chris. At the other head of the table sat Angel. To her left were J.C., Justin, Howie, and Lance. Once they completed their dinner, they turned on the television. Brian had the remote control, and he was flipping through the channels and stopped at MTV. They were all hoping that they would be playing music videos, but they were not, and instead had a special on what appeared to be Limp Bizkit. They decided to watch that because they were from Orlando, also. Then they had a little bit about Matchbox 20.

"Although our Orlando special has been about music groups, the next is not. Here's the picture of the amazing young girl and the thrilling story behind her when we return," the narrarator said.

"Amazing girl is right!" Nick exclaimed, proudly kissing the top of his sister's head. She was sitting on his lap. "Angel, honey, why didn't you tell us?"

"You guys, I didn't know! This is awesome! I am going to be on TV!" Angle exclaimed.

"Angie, come give me a hug, sweetheart. We are so, so, so proud of you," Brian said. Angel stood up and climbed off of Nick's lap. She walked over to Brian and hugged him. Then she walked around the room and hugged everyone else. She had just finished hugging Justin when the commercials were over, so she just sat on his lap.

"Ugh," Justin cried out unexpectedly. Angel giggled, but other than that, they all watched attentively.

The program explained how she had been working on her modelling and traveling with Aaron, the Backstreet Boys, *N SYNC, and Britney Spears. It told how she became close friends with Britney Spears and has now set the record for youngest touring dancer. The position touring dancer applies only for background dancers. For instance, Aaron dances and is touring and is younger than Angel, but he is not a background dancer. Then she was used as an introduction for Aaron, but again they took a break.

"Aaron, you're the man! You can be crunk with us now!" Justin exclaimed.

"A.C., dude, high five!" Chris said. Aaron went around and gave everyone a high five, but he hugged his siblings, Nick and Angel.

"AirBud, come up here and sit with me," Kevin suggested.

"Okay," Aaron said happily. He love being around Kevin, but he was too shy to choose to sit by him or start a converstion with him.

The program continued about Aaron. Aaron was the excuse to introduce the Backstreet Boys, and they took another short break.

"Wahoo," Nick exclaimed.

"We're on TV!" Howie sang out.

"Okay, that's enough, let's stop," A.J. suggested.

Brian and Kevin sarted laughing at their bandmates.

When they came back they had a short mention about Backstreet Boys and moved on to *N SYNC. Again, they only had a short time in the spotlight before they did a "talent search" to seek out growing acts from local amusement parks.

"Dude, Aaron and Angel, you're doing something right!" Chris exclaimed.

"Really! You got more time individually than the ten of us did combined," Lance added.

"I guess we're just lucky!" Aaron said laughingly.

"I second that," Angel said giggling.

The laughter spread through out the room. Then they all had went off to do their own thing.

Again Nick and Aaron beat Angel and Brian to the video games. At first, Angel and Brian just wandered around the house, out of boredom. Finally, they decided to watch Nick and Aaron play their games.

It was getting late, but the video games kept Nick and Aaron occupied, and they did not realize that everyone else except for Brian and Angel had fallen asleep. Angel who had been leaning against Brian, snuggled herself into Brian's arms.

"Just close your eyes and go to sleep. You look tired," Brian said sweetly.

"Thanks, Bri. I'm your biggest fan," Angel whispered.

"No, you're my second biggest fan."

"Who is first?"

"The band. They live with all of our faults and still like us."

"Yeah, but I do, too, and I don't get paid for it. Anyway, who couldn't like you? You're so nice."

"I am?"

"Yeah, you're being a teddy bear."

"Oh."

And with that, Angel fell asleep in Brian's arms. Soon after that, Brian also fell asleep.

About an hour later, Aaron and Nick decided to go to sleep.

"Psst, A.C...." Nick said.

"What?"

"Look at B and Angel."

"Hee hee hee..."

"Can you carry Angel?"

"No! She's like three inches taller than me."

"Oh. Brian's too heavy for me, and I don't think I can get Angel out of Brian's arms. Oh well."

"Okay."

"Do you want my bed or the floor?"

"I'll take the floor."

"Okay, but you're acting weird."

"Whaddya mean, Nick?"

"You're being too nice."

"Whatever."

"Good night."

"G'night."

After that, the house was silent.

"Angel," Brian said, shaking her. "Annie, honey, wake up."

"Mommy?" Angel groggily answered.

"Yes?" Brian answered in a high-pitched voice.

"Shuttup, Bri," she said as she slugged him in the stomach.

"Did I deserve that after letting you sleep on me?"

"Yes," she laughed.

He picked her up and threw her on Nick's empty bed.

"Come on, babe. Get up. Everyone else probably already ate everything for breakfast."

"And that would be my fault instead of yours?"

"Well, no, but yeah, um, er, I'm not at liberty yo say!"

"You're crazy."

"Sometimes, but that's beside the point. Supporting your weight all night works up an appetite!"

"Are you saying I'm heavy?"

"Maybe. Whatcha gonna do about it?"

"I'm going to eat all of your food!" she laughed as she ran out the door.

"Oh, boy, just what I need: a female Frack!"

Together they walked down the stairs to find A.J. waiting for them. He looked at them and said, "Good morning, Miss Carter and Mister Littrell. The other four gentlemen and I have patiently been waiting for you. Do us the honor of joining us for breakfast."

"A.J.? Bone, what's wrong with you?" Brian asked.

"Please, Mister Littrell, do not call me childish names such as A.J. and Bone. My name is Alexander James McLean. You may call me Alexander James or Mister McLean. Now please, let me escort you to breakfast."

"What the? I'm scared. If A.J. is acting that weird, how will the others be?" Brian asked. He was nervous about the abnormal behavior.

"It's okay. He'll snap out of it. It's okay," Angel comforted him and hugged him. "We won't know how the others are until we find them."

"Okay. You're right."

"Do you know where they are?"

"No, but, girl, I have a pretty good idea."

He led her down to their heated basement. It was a fantastic place. It had a computer in a tiny room on the side. Then they had a small pool and jacuzzi, but they were both tiny and crowded in a room. The immense space left over was finished with polished hard wood floors, full wall mirrors, and a music playing center that had speakers surrounding the room. Off to the side there was a small recording studio that could barely fit five people at the same time.

And sure enough, the others were gathered down there. Kevin was bench pressing Aaron, and Howie was eagerly watching. Angel ran over to join them and soon was in the same position as her twin, but was being lifted by Howie.

Brian peaked into the room that housed the computer and found Chris and Joey. Chris was working on lyrics for the many songs that he writes, and Joey was helping him and making sure they made some sense.

He walked on to find J.C. working on some new dance routines for "Here We Go" and some other songs. Nick was controlling the music for him.

Then he walked back into the main area of the basement, and he found Lance sitting by the pool side on his cell phone. Justin was getting ready to get in the pool. Within the short time that Brian was standing there, Lance finished his phone call, took off his shirt, and then jumped into the pool with Justin.

Brian walked back to where he started his exploration. He joined Aaron, Angel, Howie, and Kevin. As he approached them, they switched "weights", so that Angel and Kevin were together, and Howie was paired with Aaron.

"Havin' fun?" Brian asked.

"Oh, yeah!" Angel said.

"Tons of fun," Howie commented.

"Yo, Kev! Have you noticed anything different or strange about A.J.?" Brian asked.

"Yeah."

"What?"

"He kept his hair color the same for a week and counting!"

"Anything else?"

"He hardly wears sunglasses."

"Other things?"

"Nothing else."

"Oh. How about his speech? His vocabulary?"

"No, but maybe he has used more slang."

"Oh."

A.J. walked down the stairs. Brian turned to face him.

"Hey," Brian said.

"Please, please, please, Mister Littrell, use more sophisticated terms, such as 'Good day', 'Hello', 'Greetings', and 'Salutations'."

Howie quickly set Aaron down on his feet. Brian turned to see Kevin. Kevin was so stunned, that he accidentally dropped Angel. Brian, quickly reacting, caught her just before she hit the ground.

"It seems like I am always stuck with all of your weight!" Brian stated.

"Oh? Are you not as strong as Kev and D?" Angel taunted.

"No, I am stronger, and a simple 'Thank you, Brian. You saved my life, so I will now worship the ground you walk on and be your slave for life.' would have been nicer than teasing me," he said as he set her down.

"Aww, did I hurt your feelings?"

"Yes."

Then the two quickly walked towards Lance and Justin so they would not have the need to speak to A.J. too soon.

"Hey, guys," Angel said.

"Hey," Justin responded.

"Whattup?" Brian asked.

"Well, a second ago, Angel was up. Then she fell down into your arms," he said.

"Yes, that's true. Thank you, Rok," she said. She turned to face him. She out her arms around his neck to hug him, and she quickly kissed him on the cheek. He blushed.

"Oh, so now you wanna thank me, huh? I'll tell you what's up! You are!" Brian said as he pushed her into the pool. Angel was prepared, after all, Nick and Aaron were her brothers and they used to do this to her all the time. As she fell backwards, she grabbed Brian into a tight hug. They fell into the water as one, and they made a huge splash.

When he came up, she would not let go, but she tightened her grip for revenge.

"I think she has a thing going for you," Justin whispered.

"What?!" Brian exclaimed.

"Well, I think, Justin, that you should learn how to whisper softer," Angel said. "And Brian do you think I have a thing for you?"

"I dunno!" Brian answered plainly.

"What kind of answer is that?!" Angel asked, raising her voice.

Brian switched back to his voice from earlier that morning and said, "Angel Carter, never yell at your mother. You are officially grounded until further notice. Now scat, you little troublemaker!"

Angel was laughing hysterically and saying, "Aww, Ma, do I gotta?"

Nick interrupted their laughfest, saying that it had been too long since the last time Brian saw the whole Carter family together because his mother did not speak like that and that he should know better.

"They were kidding, Kaos!" Justin exclaimed.

"B, get out of the pool," Nick called. "Angel, you, too."

"Why?" Angel and Brian said in whiney voices.

"Because Alexander James is requesting our attendance at breakfast," Nickl said giggling. Soon everyone was caught up in someone else's infectious laughter.

"Excuse me, gentlemen and miss, but what is so funny?" A.J. politely asked.
