Chapter 8

The next day Brian told me that he planned something special for us. “Don’t plan anything for tomorrow night,” he said over thephone.

“Ok I won’t. I love you!”

“I love you too. Bye”

Meanwhile, “Hey Kryssie, do you want to come over tomorrow night and we can order take-out or something like that?”

“Sure whatever. Love ya!”

“Love ya too. Bye” said Nick.

“Hey sweetie,” I said to Brian the next night.

“Hi, we’re going to the beach.”

“That sounds really nice, thanks.” I said, kissing Brian.

When we got to the beach, Brian and I tookm a walk, when he suddenly stopped and got down on one knee.

“I know we haven’t known each other for a long time, but i love you more than anything. Will you marry me?”

“Yes Brian. I love you too.” I said as Brian put the ring on my finger and kissed me.

Meanwhile, Kryssie and Nick ordered take-out at his house when Nick suddenly got all serious. he got down on one knee “I know we haven’t known each other for that long, but baby, I love you with all my heart. Will you marry me?”

“Yes, I’ll marry you,” i said in tears.

“I love you so much.”

“i love you too.”

Kryssie and I got home at the same time. “OH MY GOD!” we both shouted at the same time. “Brian/Nickjust proposed to me!”

“Congrats Kryssie!”

“Same to you Lindsey!”

Nick and Kryssie got married on August 22 in New York City. I was her maid of honor and i wore a cream colored satin ankle length dress. Kryssie wore a sleeveless dress with a satin top that flares at the bottom. Brian was Nick’s best man.

Brian and I got married on September 2 in Lexington. I wore a satin sleeveless gown that was pure white. Kryssie, my maid of honor, wore a midnight blue gown. Nick was Brian’s best man.

Kryssie and Nick waited to go on their honeymoon until after Brian and I got married. They went to the Bahamas. Brian and I went to Hawaii.
