The girls opened their room which was down the hall from the Schreck's and a floor below the Wesenbergs.
"This is so cool!" Dawn said.
"I know! I'm going to do my hair and then we're going to hit the road." Theresa said. They had made sure that their first priority was to take a drive by each of the Backstreet Boys members' houses and apartments. Theresa and Dawn straightened up their hair and applied some more makeup, just in case they were going to havea close encounter with the Backstreet Boys. Theresa put on her favorite lotion (Friendship), which she used constantly (she's like on her 3rd bottle in less than a year!) "Oh man! I'm out!" Theresa complained. "Oh well I'll just use yours." she said to Dawn. The girls left the room and headed down to the lobby.
"Hi, I was wondering if you had any maps to stars' homes?" Theresa asked the lady at the desk.
"Actually, I do," The lady said. "But you didn't get them from me."
"Okay," Both girls replied excitedly and headed out to their rented jeep. Theresa pulled out her Millenium CD, and put on #6-Don't Want You Back-because that was her favorite song. Theresa was so nervous she could barely keep the steering wheel straight.
"Can we go to Nick's house first?" Theresa asked Dawn anxiously.
"Sure, why not. I want to see Aaron just as much as you want to see Nick."
"Yeah." The girls drove around awhile more getting lost and looking for the Carter home. Finally they came to a large house. It was the biggest house Theresa and Dawn had ever laid eyes on. They checked the map and the address proved that this was Nicholas Gene and Aaron Charles Carter's house.
"Oh my god! This is their house!" Dawn exclaimed.
"That's what it..." Theresa started but got cut off by a voice (again).
"Hey B! I'll be right there!" The voice called.
Both girls turned to the hosue to see who was yelling. But all they saw was a figure go back inside. A second later a tall blond boy came running down the driveway and stopped when he came to the jeep and saw Dawn and Theresa. The boy was none other than Nicholas Gene Carter!
"Um, I'm sorry, I was expecting my friend Brian to pick me up, and you have the same car as him, so I just, I, uh thought you were him." Nick explained.
The girls were in such shock that couldn't even reply by shaking their heads.
"Um, by the way, my name is Nick." The girls still sat there. "So what are your names?" Nick asked trying to get the girls to reply in some way.
"My name is Dawn, and uh this is my friend Theresa. We are really, REALLY big fans of yours."
"Oh really, cool, well you wanna come inside and meet the family?"
"Um, sure." Theresa spoke up.
"Okay, cool, come on."
The girls climbed out of the jeep and followed Nick into the gigantic house. He lead them into the kitchen where they found his mom washing dishes.
"Hey mom-this is Dawn and Theresa-I just met them outside." His mother appeared to be quite busy, and barely acknowledged the girls.
"Hello girls, nice to meet you. Nick-Brian called just a second ago when you were outside and he said he was running late, but he should be here in about 10 minutes." Mrs. Carter spit out all in one breath.
"Okay, thanks mom." Nick said. "Alright let's go upstairs. I think my brother's in our room."
"UH! You mean Aaron!" Dawn exclaimed excitedly.
"That would be my brother." Nick said. Dawn could hear Theresa laughing, just mocking her. As Nick opened the door to his room Dawn followed and then Theresa. And sure enough, there was Aaron-Nick's brother sitting in the loft on his bed playing with some of his Ninja Turtle figures.
"Pow, Pow! You're dead now Shredder!" Aaron cried pretending to be Splinter.
"Um, Aaron." Nick said, interuppting Aaron's little escapade with his Ninja Turtles. "We have visitors."
Aaron looked up, blushing wildly. "Um, hi." He looked down embarassed.
"Aaron-this is Dawn and Theresa." Nick said.
"Hi." Both girls said in unison. But Aaron was too shy to reply.
"He's so odd." Nick whispered to the girls.
"Hey Aaron, do you know where Dad is?"
"Yeah, he's out in the back, fixing the blue boat."
"Oh, well then we'd better not bother him, cause he gets pretty uptight when he's working." Nick told the girls.
"Yeah and BJ and Leslie aren't here." Aaron yelled down to them. "Oh, and Angel's at the park with Becky."
"So, I guess that's it." Nick said.
"Yup." Theresa and Dawn replied in unison. Both girls weren't as fazed about meeting Nick Carter. He was just the average hottie to the 98th degree. At that moment the doorbell rang.
"That must be Brian." Nick told the girls. "Let's go!" The three of them ran downstairs. Dawn's heart was racing. She'd been dreaming of th eday she'd meet Brian forever. Nick flung the door open and revealed the one and only Brian Littrell.
"Hey Nick, whuz up?" Brian asked.
"Not too much, just chillin with some fans." he turned to the girls. "This is Dawn Wesenberg and Theresa Schreck." He introduced them. Dawn was so shocked and surprised that everything turned black around her and she slowly started to fall.
