"Yes plenty of times to visit relatives," spoke Dawn.
"And you?" he asked Theresa.
"Yeah, 5 years ago, but this is the first time I'm here with Dawn."
"So how long --" Brian started.
"Hey guys, last one to that tree gets a huge wedgie." interrupted Nick.
Theresa, Dawn and Brian looked at each other grinning and started off for the tree. Kevin, Howie and A.J. were right behind them leaving Nick in the dust. Nick stumbling after the others, "Hey no fair you got a head start. Wait up!"
All of a sudden, a dark female figure appeared out of nowhere cutting Nick's path. Nick was moving at a high speed with his rollerblades and when he spotted her it was too late. He ran right into her, both of them falling hard to the ground.
A.J. came running out and snapped at the girl, "Why don't you watch where your going girl?" He then looked over at Nick, "Are you alright, Nick?"
"Yeah I'm fine." Nick said feeling bad. He looked over at the girl he had just plowed over. She had messy black hair and dirt all over herself. 'Man she looks like a total wreck. Her face is stained from tears, and her clothes are ripped.' He thought to himself. Nick quickly got to his feet, "I'm sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going." He reached out to give her a hand, but she shrugged him off. All she could do was look up at all the eyes looking at her.
'She looks in pretty bad shape,' Brian thought. 'I wonder what's wrong with her. She looks like she's been crying for days.'
The girl stumbled as she tried to get up, so Brian reached over to help her up and she shrugged him off and ran away.
"Man, how rude!?!" A.J. commented. "She could have at least apologized or said thank you or something."
Nick looked at the girl as she ran off. He looked like he had just lost someone special. "Just leave her alone, A.J. It was my fault." he said sadly.
Theresa looked over at Nick, 'Man he feels really bad.' She walked over to Nick, "Don't worry, it was an accident. Accidents happen all the time and you've got to accept the outcomes of it. You tried to apologize, but she was rude enough to shrug you off like that. Forget her. Come on, let's go have some fun." she said hoping to cheer him up. Nick looked up at her and smiled weakly.
"Hey Nick, you were the last one to the tree, time for your wedgie!!!!" smiled Dawn slyly. Everyone jumped on Nick and gave him a huge wedgie. This made everyone forget about the girl for the time being.
"Gee, thanks guys, now I'm going to have a hard time walking." Nick said sarcastically. Everyone just laughed at him.
"Let's do something else now, my feet hurt!" whined A.J. "And so does my butt!" Again everyone laughed.
"Like what?" asked Kevin.
"Let's go sit in the shade over there and get to know these two lovely ladies," Howie suggested. They walked over to a huge tree and sat under it in a circle.
"So how long are you guys here for?" Nick asked.
"Two months." Dawn replied.
"What are you guys planning to do all summer here?" asked Brian.
"We don't know yet. Probably drive around and go sight-seeing. Or whatever comes to around. It wasn't planned to be sitting here with you guys and actually talking to you guys, but it's all good, cause I'm having a blast and I know Dawn is too. I guess we're just going to enjoy ourselves, relax and have fun!" Theresa replied.
The seven of them continued talking for two hours. The girls learned that the boys were on vacatiion as well from touring and are starting up again in September. They also learned that Brian and A.J. both had girlfriends, Kevin was seeing someone and Howie and Nick were available. Theresa was happy to hear that. The two girls were now more comfortable around the boys. 'Their just everyday normal guys.' Dawn thought.
Kevin and Howie stood up. Kevin said, "Well it was nice meeting you ladies, but Howie and I have some errands to do. I hope we'll see you guys again."
"Yeah, it was nice meeting you too." Theresa stood up to give them a hug.
A.J. got up as well, "I have to go too, I have to meet Amanda for coffee. Catch ya later, Frick and Frack." He turned to Theresa and Dawn. He winked at them and grinned, "Nice meeting you two. I'll see you soon." He walked over and gave them each a kiss on the cheek.
Brian, Nick, Theresa and Dawn sat there quiet. "Well what now?" asked Dawn.
"What time do you two have to be home?" Nick questioned.
"Any time!" Theresa grinned slyly.
"Let's go shopping." Nick suggested.
"Okay." everyone agreed.
The four drove down to Main Street (*Author's note: I've never been to Florida so I don't exactly know what's there except DisneyWorld. Plus I'm a Canadian, so what do I know, right?)and walked in and out of stores for about two hours. They were having a great time laughing and just talking with each other. Nick had bought two pairs of basketball shoes. Brian bought a Kentucky Wildcats jersey, a hat and a pair of bball shoes as well. Theresa and Dawn both bought a mini skirt and tank top, with opinions from Brian and Nick.
They walked into a Gap store, when Nick spotted a familiar figure. "Hey she looks familiar." he said pointing the girl out to everyone. He went to get a closer look and it was the girl he accidentally ran into in the park earlier. She seemed to be stealing something.
