'N SYNC CONCERT

on December 10, 1999

After a couple months of setbacks, 'N Sync finally made it to Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA!!! It was postponed twice and FINALLY the day came! Well, I had row 8 on the floor, so I had perfect seats, I know it's not front row, but you could see all. It was a great night. Well, it started off with McMaster & James, the first opening act. Their a Canadian group who sang their first single 'Love Wins Every Time' and three other songs. The second opening act was Ron Iziarry, he is on Chris Kirkpatrick's FumanSkeeto Music Label, he wasn't that great but had lots of cheers by the 'N Sync fans in the Skyreach Center.

Well finally after the two opening acts, the stage of 'N Sync was revealed, in front of us was a big screen TV which showed us a short clip of the guys security guard telling them not to come into the building because of bombs or something like that, helicopter sounds filled the Coliseum and lights shining everywhere which caused everyone to look around to see where the boys were coming out from, all of a sudden on the stage the boys were hanging on ropes as they lowered themselves towards the ground. The big screen showed the oh so cute Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez. They started off the show with 'HERE WE GO' and continued with other upbeat songs. Finally they cooled down and sang some acapella with the song 'I DRIVE MYSELF CRAZY'. Before that they pulled girls on the stage singing to them 'FOR THE GIRL WHO HAS EVERYTHING.' They were so lucky. The whole concert I had my eyes on Justin and JC. HOTTIES? Definately.

There were so many costume changes. The guys performed a song from the 60s with JC singing, 'That Thing You Do,' with the four other guys playing instruments. Lance on the piano, Joey on the drums, Justin on the acoustic guitar and Chris on the bass. Then they went to change again and came out to do a song from the 70s done by the famous Jackson 5, Chris sang their song 'ABC'and the rest of the guys sang back up wearing afros. Next they sang a song from the 80s, sung by Joey, 'Celebrate' and all this confetti blasted out of the roof. It was wicked. For the 90s they sang a song by them, 'Tearin up my Heart'.

There was a short intermission as the concert was ending. They showed a European video, I don't remember what it's called, (I'll look it up). They then came out to sing 'I Want You Back.' The only new song they sang was 'Bye bye bye' off their new album 'No Strings Attached'. That was the disappointing part, they postponed our concert twice and sang mostly from their first album. But it was worth the wait too!!!

The best part of the concert was when they sang 'Sailing'. They flew out into the crowd and Lance and Justin were right on top of us, they were like 1 1/2 metres away from us. That was the best time to take pictures and that I did. They waved to us and everything, it was a dream. I saw Justin's flame tattoo on his ankle cause they were wearing this capri type pants with drawstrings and yup i saw his tattoo and hairy legs..LOL.. Another part of the concert I liked was when they sang 'GOD MUST'VE SPENT..' At the end of the song, Justin stalled and his face was the cutest, he stalled and stalled. It was all set up, Chris was like, "What are you doing man...?" Blah blah blah. "I know, will you finish the song if you sang to only ONE of the girls? You're such a show off man." It was great cause it made the fans cheer louder and louder. He's the greatest, and the cutest, and the...

Well, unfortunately their concert came to an end and it was time for them to go. I was sad, but I look forward to their long awaited new album and next concert. It was funny cause Justin didn't want to leave, he was the last one off the stage. I wish he didn't have to leave. Well, this concert was definately better than the one I went to the year before. It's a night to remember.
