MALIN HAS FLIGHT PROBLEMS
"Malin panics when she's inside an airplane."
  Agnetha Fältskog's airsickness hastened the end for ABBA. The question now is whether or not it'll apply to Ace of Base. It's Malin Berggren's panic and horror of sitting in an airplane that is behind the problem for the group lately. And, that creates rumors about the end for Ace of Base.

  "What has been written is totally wrong," says the group's manager, Lasse Karlsson, to Hänt Extra. "On the contrary, the band members have been more close with one another than ever before."
"When papers write 'Is it the end of the Ace of Base story?,' I would like to reply: The story still continues - and we hope for a happy ending in the future!"
One problem they have had: Malin sometimes wonders about leaving. It isn't because she doesn't like the work or her band mates, but it's because of the many and lengthy trips.

Whisky Trick
"Malin is airsick," confirms Lasse Karlsson. "She really dislikes sitting in airplanes. Maybe she must take the classic whisky trick before traveling. There will be flights all over the world for their traveling. In the middle of March, they will release their new single. In May, album III, and in between of all that, the promotion tours will begin for the sales results and for a preparation for the planned autumn concert tours. It's now or never. The first album sold 22 million copies. As for the second album, it was, at least, six million copies. The third album must be a success - and Malin will have to prepare and take care of her airsickness."
"She has to work it out," says Lasse Karlsson. There is no other way. She must control her fear.
