THAT TAX TRICK THAT GAVE THE STARS MILLIONS

This is how the Ace of Base stars got even richer. The stars of Ace of Base have sold themselves to themselves. The three Berggrens have performed a tax trick to escape the taxation of at least 20 million kronor. "I think it was a decision that they made together," says the accountant Bjorn Borjeson, that planned the business parts.
The Berggrens had a good year in 1994, together they made almost 24 million konor. Jonas made the most with 12.5 million in income. The sisters made 5.5 million each the same way. At the end of the year they also performed an advanced tax trick, with their private companies to avoid getting taxes. The three had even more money from the success with the song "The Sign" that was a USA number one left in their "companies". At new year 1995 the government would raise different taxes, including the tax for "selling something".
That meant that the profit that someone did at the sales would be doubled. The Berggrens solved that with Bjorn B. They each simply started a new company in the middle of December then they sold the old company to the new one and therefore payed less tax for the profit that they would have made in the future. That way they withheld 20 million from being taxed, in a perfectly legal thing to do as well. Many others did the same thing too.

*Jonas Berggren sold his "Join the Music" to his "JPB Music Top Hat" company ~ worth 34.5 million

*Malin sold "Masoka Production" to "Pelé Production" worth 6.1 million.

*Jenny sold "Ipono Production" to "Intary Productions" worth 7.8 million

Most likely the sisters will dispose of the three companies, it will be more economic to have just one company. Jonas has started another company named "Young and Proud Disco Tjohej AB". (Tjohej = yahoo). He will be composing and playing music and lyrics.
