Oh, hell, someone's got to say the obvious: ANEMONE!

Hmmm...I guess what we're looking for here is Anemone Latzina (unless there's an Anna Mone out there in author-land whose work I'm unfamiliar with.)

Comments:
When I start clicking the various links at this site there's so much to see (and learn) it's dazzling. So I'll confine my comments to just the band portion of it (which is perhaps all you meant for us to comment on anyway). I found you while searching Mazzy Star sites. The first thing anyone looking at band sites wonders is "What do they sound like?" So, why no sound samples? Your band could be fantastic or it could be another Shaggs; I have no way of knowing without being able to hear something. Also, why are there two different Anemone sites -- this one and the one at Tripod? Both are the same except with different backgrounds. (Incidentlly, the "View/Sign GuestBook" link at the Tripod site doesn't work.) To continue with my bitch-fest: What's the point in going to the trouble of putting together a website for the band (or two sites, as the case may be) if you're not going to keep them current? It's 7/5/00 as I write this yet your latest performance post is for an "upcoming" 5/1/00 show! Or maybe the band is defunct and you just never removed the sites??? Let's see...what else...??? I tried the two links listed for the other band members and the "Hello I'm a Truck" link is dead, but the "Ferdinand" link is not only active but CURRENT! See! It can be done! Other than the above mentioned gripes, the band site(s) have a nice appearance and good concert photos. But I'm still wondering what you guys sound like. Enough said -- now I'm going to explore some more of those offshoots at the site. S'long.

Hmm, just the basic facts eh? Well, I look forward to hearing some of your music someday. I've been a fan of all the groups you've been in (that I'm aware of) Richie mentioned something about getting you to send a tape off to me. We'll see if he's genuine or not. If you're ever in the Midwest, let me know and I'll do a lightshow for your group. -Ben
