Cartoon- Local music venue in Croydon. Scene of much underage drinking (none of my own, I should point out) and local bands formative concerts. It also seems to be a favourite among poor lookalike bands... I don't know why, but it seems like an appropriate venue.
Cassie Gunnis- Long time friend from school days. Currently working for the student union of Bradford university.
Cheam- Village in the London borough of Sutton. My first home and briefly home at the beginning of the 1990’s.
Church- (see also "Folly's End") I would like to express the opinion that church is what happens when Christians meet together and it is not a building or a liturgy. I especially enjoy the kind of church that happens in the pub or over a good meal and I try to partake of this kind of church as often as possible.
Cooking- I've been known to cook once in a while. Nothing exciting (no fillet mignon or anything) but I quite enjoy it. It just seems to be an adventure every time I try, so I reserve it for special occasions, though. Cheese on toast is a speciality of mine, as is nondescript-tomatoey-meaty-pasta-dish, as several victims can testify. In the near future I hope to learn more italian dishes and perhaps indian/chinese.
Cricket- As a kid I played cricket and I was well into it. I wasn't especially good, but I think my enthusiasm helped me improve a lot. I lost a tooth to it when I was 12(see also "Teeth") and that dented my confidence a bit. My bowling varied quite a lot, from so-fast-I-got-pins-and-needles-in-my-hand-after-every-ball to sloow spinner; so slow the grass probably grew noticeably during my run up.
Croydon- London borough. My home since August 1992 and by far the single place I’ve lived in the longest.
Crystal Palace- My local football team. Since I’ve been away from home I’ve become a low-key supporter of the team- seeing them on TV reminds me of home when I’m a long way from there and reminds me I am home when I’m back.

Dave Taylor- songwriter, singer and guitarist of Lifesupportsound; partner in Mime Graphics. He's also a great mate.
Dave Markee- Used to play bass with some awesome bands. Must've been making a packet off it. Became a Christian and started the church I now go to. Only ever taught me about 2 little things on the bass, but they've both improved my playing immensely.
Dan Kerry- Guitarist, singer and teammate from my 2 years working in Birmingham. He's also a close friend of mine.
Dominic Palmer- professional bassist, my teacher at school. This man should be making more money than he is- he’s very good. At any one moment in time, he’s likely to either be in the pub or in the pit of Les Miserables in London.
